Based on famed anthropologist Diane Fossey's (Sigourney Weaver) autobiography of her life among the mountain gorillas of Rwanda, this compelling adventure film reflects the enormous challenges of Fossey's life and the remarkable accomplishments of her research and efforts to protect the endangered mountain gorillas from poachers before her untimely death.
