Gidget is back – and this time she is hangin’ ten in Hawaii. Francis is mortified to find out that her family is making her go on vacation to Hawaii for the only two weeks that her beloved boyfriend Jeff will be home from college. Much to her dismay, he tells to go on vacation. Thinking he doesn’t want to be with her, she sets out for Hawaii in a foul mood. Taking the advice of Abby, a girl she meets on the plane who advises her to forget about Jeff, Francis proceeds to steal Abby’s boyfriend Eddie, a famous dancer.
