It's 1937 and passengers on a cruise
ship bound for the Holy Land mingle with each other during a brief stopover at
Trieste. Among them is Hercule Poirot, that famous Belgian sleuth of impeccable
manners and immeasurable powers of deduction. Poirot is on holiday and en route
to Palestine. But, as every Agatha Christie fan knows, there will be no
vacation for the mustachioed master of mystery for wherever the dapper
detective chooses to go, murder will most certainly follow.
