James Bond (Roger Moore) must locate a top secret British naval device that has been sunk off the coast of Greece. Along the way, Bond meets Meline (Carole Bouquet), a beautiful woman who will stop at nothing to avenge her parents' murder. Together they face the mysterious Columbo (Topol) who might be involved in more than just his international smuggling ring.
