To be young, in love and sociopathic- Welcome to the existence of Tom Ripley, an existence others are dying to erase. Set in the 1950's, a wealthy American industrialist hires Tom Ripley to fetch his wayward-playboy son, Dickie Greenleaf, back to America. Upon arriving in Italy, Ripley becomes obsessed with Dickie, his posh lifestyle and his beautiful expatriate girlfriend, Marge Sherwood. So obsessed, in fact, that he decides to make Dickie's life his own. As Ripley's lies, crimes and attempts to avoid exposure mount, Dickie and Marge discover the extreme measures the talented Mr. Ripley will take to lead their lives.
