The
Namib Desert on the southwest coast of Africa is one of the driest
places in the world. Lured by tales of desert-dwelling elephants,
naturalists Des and Jen Bartlett journeyed to Namib to find a surprising
diversity of animals, including lions, giraffes, and antelopes.
