This film is a combination of time travel action adventure and love story. An adventurer and mathmetician named Stuart (Schrieber) finds a portal in time and transports himself back to 1880. When a Duke named Leopold discovers this stranger he chases him and ends up accidentally being transported back to present day New York. A accident lands Stuart in the hospital with no way to contact Leopold and he is left in the only semi-capable hands of Charlie (Meyer), a friend of Stuart and the sister of Stuarts former girlfriend Kate (Ryan). Kate, of course cannot believe the circumstances of Leopold’s arrival and is at first abrasive to the strange visitor. Kate does concede to show Leopold around New York and finds herself falling in love with this man in a true fish out of water story.
