This film is a combination of time travel action adventure and love story. Kate (Ryan) and a team of scientists accidentally transport a Duke called Leopold (Jackman) from 1880 England to present day New York. While the team furiously try to get the man back to his time and place of origin Kate gives Leopold a tour around New York. Much to her surprise, Kate finds herself falling in love with this man in a true fish out of water story.
