Leonide (Sorvino), the Princess of Sparta is determined to return her homeland’s throne to the rightful heir – a young prince with whom she just happens to be in love. Leonide schemes and deceives under many different identities to bring Prince Agis (Rodan) back to the throne seized by her father. In doing so Leonide ends up being engaged under the name of three of her pseudonyms.
